RISD Orientation

Identity, 2024

An identity for the new student orientation program at RISD, tasked with creating a visual system that incoming freshmen could identify with. By building on the idea of friendship bracelets as an activity that unites communities, and brings us back to our nostalgic memories of play, we developed a logotype and typographic system utilizing bead and bracelet motifs, creating an identity that could connect students during a time that can feel isolating and new. With Andrew Liu, Ash Ma, and Maggie Xian.
